Where are you from?
I am from Charlotte, NC! (Technically Harrisburg, but nobody knows where that is)

What do you do for work?
I just switched to working for a youth soccer company to nannying!

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to do anything outdoors. Hiking, swimming, mountain biking, playing sports…..and I also enjoy reading.

Who is your inspiration in life?
If we are allowed to not be too cliché, probably my mom. She has taught and instilled some qualities in me that I hope will make me half the mom she is one day! If we aren’t allowed to say family members, probably Elisabeth Elliot. She lived an extremely self-sacrificial life and has shared a lot of wisdom that I deem very applicable in certain life situations!

How did you hear about Team TFFT?
Oddly enough, I took part in a race at the White Water Center here in Charlotte, and saw someone wearing a TFFT shirt. So I did some research online and that’s how I found out about this awesome organization!

What inspired you to run this March?
Being a competitive person, races always motivate me personally, but specifically for this run, I think my perspective has changed a bit into running for something bigger than myself.  To be able to run for Team TFFT is such an amazing opportunity. I was blessed to have a good education and live a pretty comfortable life growing up. So, anything I can do to give back and provide more opportunities and educational quality for children who aren’t presented with those circumstances is my biggest inspiration for running this race in March.

What’s your favorite place to run?
In Charlotte, any of the greenways; however, running near any beach is my true happy running place.
